Mark Ruffalo in early talks for MCU Disney+ series, She-Hulk

It seems like Marvel actor Mark Ruffalo, who was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, might be taking the same route as other MCU actors! There have been reports that have suggested that the She-Hulk series at Disney + is in works and Allison Brie is being eyed for the lead role. While no confirmation has come from the makers, it seems like Mark Ruffalo might also be heading to the digital medium with this series.

The actor attended C2E2 in Chicago and during his panel, Mark Ruffalo confirmed that he is in early talks for the Disney + series and might return as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. While the rest of the details have been kept under wraps, it is unclear whether the actor will be a guest star or a series regular in this upcoming series.

According to the comics, lawyer Jennifer Susan Walters developed Hulk-like abilities when she received a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. Now, it seems like this might be a great segway for the actor to return to the Marvel universe.

Disney + with Marvel will be launching many series including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki.

While we wait for the confirmation from the makers, Mark Ruffalo currently in talks with makers of Parasite to star in the upcoming HBO series. It will be executive produced by Academy Award winner Bong Joon-ho and Adam Mckay.

"Fox shot down our plans to shoot in Syria", says Baaghi 3 director Ahmed Khan

That authentic war-torn zone we see in the trailer of Baaghi 3 is not really Syria. “We shot in Serbia where we had to construct huge sets to make it look like Syria", reveals director Ahmed Khan, “Our producers Fox Star refused to let us shoot in Syria…too dangerous. So we had to build huge sets in Serbia that resembled the topography in Syria.”

But if sets had to be erected, why not do them in Mumbai. Why go all the way to Serbia? Ahmed shrugs, “Sajid Nadiadwala said just do what it takes to get it right. We did try to do it in Mumbai. But it didn’t seem to work out right. I am glad we shot in Serbia. We got the right atmosphere and the proper junior artists who spoke Arabic.”

Baaghi 3 looks like another plot about a kidnap and revenge. Ahmed brightens up, “That’s right! There is a kidnapping in common as a triggering point in the plot to all the three Baaghi films so far. I think it will be a common refrain in the Baaghi franchise. Besides of course, Tiger whom we can’t make Baaghi without.”

Ahmed has refrained from doing any of the choreography in Baaghi 3. “Too much to handle. I am hands-on in all the action scenes. So besides the direction I’ve to be on high-alert in many other departments. I left the choreography to Ganesh Acharya and to my assistant Adil Shaikh.”

Ahmed says he intends to take a long break after Baaghi 3. “It has taken two of years of hard work. I am exhausted.”

Mark Ruffalo confirms he is in talks to reprise Song Kang-ho's role in Bong Joon Ho's Parasite TV series

After the historic win of South Korean film Parasite at the Academy Awards 2020 with Bong Joon Ho winning the Best Director along with Best Screenplay, Best Film, and Best International Film, reports revealed that Marvel actor Mark Ruffalo is being eyed for the role of the father in Parasite TV series. The series will be executive produced by Bong Joon Ho and Adam Mckay at HBO.

Mark Ruffalo, who is currently in Chicago for C2E2, made some interesting revelations during his panel. In fact, he confirmed that he is in talks to reprise Song Kang-ho's role in Parasite TV series. ComicBook.com revealed, “We’ve met. I love him (Bong Joon-ho), I love that movie/ I might be playing the father in Parasite on a television show. I would love to do it. We’re sort of waiting on the script and all that, but yeah, that’s pretty much true and in the works."

During the panel, Ruffalo also said that Bong Joon-ho would be a great Marvel director.

Bong Joon-ho and Adam Mckay will executive produce as well along with Kate Street Picture Company’s Dooho Choi and CJ Entertainment’s Miky Lee, Cho Young Ki and Francis Chung. McKay’s partner at Hyperobject Industries Kevin Messick will also exec produce. CJ’s Jerry Ko will be co-executive produce and CJ’s Fred Lee will act as producer.

Parasite is about the Park Family - the picture of aspirational wealth and the Kim Family, rich in street smarts but not much else. Be it chance or fate, these two houses are brought together and the Kims sense a golden opportunity. Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist, to the Parks. Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide “indispensable” luxury services while the Parks obliviously bankroll their entire household. When a parasitic interloper threatens the Kims’ newfound comfort, a savage, underhanded battle for dominance breaks out, threatening to destroy the fragile ecosystem between the Kims and the Parks.

Baaghi 3: CBFC removes Shraddha Kapoor's 'abuses' - 'teri maa ki beep' and Disha Patani's body shots

The Central Board of Film Certification has always been strict when it comes to abusive language in films. Forget non-adult films, even ‘A’ rated flicks nowadays have faced cuts when they are found peppered with cuss words. At one point, extreme abuses used to get beeped and now they are muted. In this regard, Baaghi 3 makers however thought of an interesting idea. They made their lead actress Shraddha Kapoor utter not just the abusive word but also the word ‘beep’! Sadly, the CBFC didn’t find it appropriate.

A source close to the project says, “Shraddha Kapoor’s character in Baaghi 3 has the habit of spewing abuses at every given opportunity. But she just says half of it and then finishes it with the word ‘beep’. The trailer gives a hint of this where in the actress can be seen mentioning ‘Maa ki lo beep’ and ‘maacho beep’. There are many more such terms she mentions like ‘maadar beep’, ‘behancho beep’, ‘gaa beep’, ‘bho beep’, ‘maa ka bho beep’, ‘maa ke bhu beep’, ‘teri maa ki beep’ etc. Then at some places, certain words are used by her which sound similar to cuss words like ‘bhospuriye’, ‘muthmaare’, ‘chudasma’ etc. The CBFC categorically told the makers that such words can’t be tolerated in a film meant for kids and families and told them to replace them with non-sexually abusive words. Even ‘Haramzaade’ uttered at one place was changed.”

Although Baaghi 3 has been awarded a U/A certificate, there were some visuals and other dialogues which the CBFC had an issue with. The source continues, “There’s a sequence of a child being beaten. It was modified and a disclaimer added in the beginning denouncing violence against children. The visuals of a body getting burnt were reduced by 50%. An abusive word used against a deaf character was found insulting and was replaced. Moreover, there were close-up shots of Disha Patani’s body in the song ‘Do You Love Me’ which seemed a bit too much for the CBFC. These visuals were replaced with long shots and visuals of other characters.” Baaghi 3 was awarded the certificate on February 26. The total length of the film is 147 minutes.

A trade source observes, “Just last month, we saw Kartik Aaryan saying ‘Madar’ in Love Aaj Kal and we all know what he meant there. The CBFC were okay with that but have problems with Shraddha’s dialogues in Baaghi 3. Why can’t they be consistent?”

Besides Shraddha Kapoor, Baaghi 3 stars Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Ankita Lokhande, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. While Disha will be seen only in an item song, Tiger’s father Jackie reportedly has a crucial role in the film and it’ll be the first time both will be seen in a film. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 3 releases on March 6.

A new entry is all set to romance Jennifer Winget in Beyhadh 2?

Jennifer Winget surely knows how to woo her fans with her impeccable acting skills and has been doing that for quite a few years. She started off as a child actress and has given us some iconic roles as Dr. Riddhima, Maya Mehrotra, Zoya Siddiqui Hooda, and has reprised her role as Maya Jaisingh yet again with Beyhadh 2. While she has portrayed the anguish and turmoil perfectly, the storyline did not seem to have grabbed the audience’s attention.

The channel has made an overnight decision to pull the plug on the show and continue it digitally. The Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry starrer show will continue on the channel’s digital platform and the last episode will air on March 13. However, there were also reports that Jennifer’s management had been in talks with the channel regarding her decision to continue to the show since she had signed a contract with the channel and did not wish to continue it digitally. There have been no confirmations from the channel or the actress so far regarding her future with the show.

To make things more interesting, the makers of the show have apparently decided to rope in another lead actor to romance Jennifer Winget. Even though Jennifer Winget’s character is in love and married to Shivin Narang’s character Rudra, the new entrant is supposed to be wooing her with his charm and will spice up the storyline.

Ek Villain 2: Disha Patani joins John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer, film to release on January 8, 2021

Back in September 2019, Bollywood Hungama reported that John Abraham was approached for the sequel of the 2014 revenge saga, Ek Villain. The actor was in talks, at the time, with Mohit Suri. In January 2020, it was confirmed that he will be headlining Ek Villain 2 alongside Aashiqui 2 actor Aditya Roy Kapur. Now, they have found their leading lady in Disha Patani.

Disha Patani, who recently starred opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri's Malang, wanted to do more action. Mohit revealed that she was the first one to approach him to say that she wanted to more action, beat up people, perform stunts just like the leading men. She wanted to be a hero. He said that Malang showcased her free-spirited role but this time, she will be an integral part of the film.

Interestingly, Disha Patani will be paired opposite John Abraham instead of Aditya Roy Kapur. Disha will be part of heavy lifting action. The makers are currently looking out for a second leading lady.

Ek Villain 2 will go on the floor later this year and hit the screens on January 8, 2021.
