Rohan Mehra reacts to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Karan Mehra’s arrest
On Tuesday morning, reports of television actor Karan Mehra getting arrested following a complaint by his wife Nisha Rawal were everywhere. Now, actor Rohan Mehra who played Karan's on-screen son in the popular television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has reacted to the news and said that he was shocked to hear about the arrest and the complaint against him.
Rohan said that in the five years he has known Karan, he never even raised his voice. Rohan further said that even in a high-pressure environment like Bigg Boss, Karan was able to keep calm. Karan had participated in season 10 of the reality show along with Rohan.
While talking to an entertainment portal, Rohan added that he does not want to comment on the case but said that Karan has been a very good person in the past 5-6 years that he has known him. He said that Karan has been very respectful towards every person working on the sets of their show. Rohan who has worked with Karan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and was his co-participant on Bigg Boss 10 said that he never saw him losing his temper or raising his voice on somebody.
Karan was arrested on the night of May 31 after his wife Nisha filed a complaint against him for allegedly assaulting her. According to the reports, Nisha filed a complaint against her husband following a domestic dispute, where Karan allegedly pushed her against the wall in which she hurt her head. On June 1, it was reported that Karan Mehra was granted bail by the police.

Pooja Hegde organises ration packets for 100 families, asks to keep hopes up during this difficult time!
Pooja Hegde is helping the ones in need during these difficult times in her own way. The Indian actress was spotted organizing a whole month's rations for about 100 families.
A leading photographer shared her image where Pooja can be seen sitting in a white shirt with printed pink flowers and black shorts amidst large packets of food. She was also seen sending a message of 'keeping hopes up during this difficult time as a new morning is not far'.
Pooja had previously tested positive for Covid. She had also arranged a live session with a yoga coach on breathing exercises to help build lung capacity urging everyone to practice it during this time. Pooja has also been keeping up with yoga as part of her post-Covid care.
On the work front, the Indian actress has films panning across India from Rohit Shetty's Cirkus with Ranveer Singh, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Salman Khan, Pan-India release, Radhe Shyam opposite Prabhas, Acharyaa with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, Most Eligible Bachelor as well as Thalapathy 65 opposite Thalapathy Vijay.

Maniesh Paul offers aid to BMC workers post Cyclone Tauktae
Indian actor and one of the most celebrated hosts, Maniesh Paul extended his help to contribute towards BMC Safai Karamcharis working at beaches post the Cyclone.
Post the cyclone Tauktae hit the west coast, Mumbai witnessed the beaches and roads littered with waste spewed by the sea back at the city. After the cyclone-induced damage, BMC workers cleared over 2000 tons of garbage, in a single day.
Offering a helping hand to the selfless workers, Maniesh Paul extended his support by donating an undisclosed amount along with ration kits (dal, rice, along with other daily grocery items), across nine beaches in Mumbai including, Juhu, Versova, Mahim, Bandra, Girgaon, Shivaji Park, amongst others.
Maniesh Paul associated with Chinu Kwatra, founder of Khushiyaan Foundation to organize the donation drive to help the BMC Safai Karamcharis working on the beaches post the cyclone. Sharing insights into the same, Chinu Kwatra shared, "It was extremely thoughtful of Maniesh to extend his support for the BMC workers and we are glad to be be a part of his contribution. It is heartening to witness people like Maniesh coming forward to help the BMC Safai Karamcharis of Beach who had been toiling to clear up the waste spewed by the ocean back on the land after the cyclone. He provided ration kits to the families as a mark of respect and admiration for their hardwork towards the society."
In addition, Maniesh Paul has also donated shoes for underprivileged kids to the NGO Khushiya Foundation.

Karan Mehra arrested following a brawl with his wife Nisha Mehra
Karan Mehra, who is popularly known for his character of Naitik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was arrested last night (May 31). The actor was arrested after his wife Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him for allegedly assaulting her last night at Goregaon Police Station.
According to the reports, Nisha filed a complaint against her husband following a domestic dispute, where Karan allegedly pushed her against the wall in which she hurt her head. An FIR has been registered against the actor under section 336 and 337 of IPC. Karan Mehra is currently at the Goregaon Police Station and Mumbai Police is recording his statement.
Rumours were rife about their troubled marriage. However, both Karan and Nisha rubbished those reports. Now, that the police have confirmed that the couple has been hostile towards each other for some time and are going through divorce proceedings at a family court.
Karan and Nisha tied the knot in November 2012 after dating for a few years and also appeared together in Nach Baliye 5. The duo has a 4-year-old son named Kavish.
