John Abraham braces up to play The Diplomat, based on a true story that shook the nation. Playing a high-ranking government official, The Diplomat takes you on a roller coaster ride & an edge-of-the-seat drama that promises to grip your senses till the very end. This high-octane film is set to captivate audiences on 11th January 2024. The film will clash with Prabhas starrer Project K next year which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan.

The Diplomat is helmed by acclaimed director Shivam Nair. The film’s screenplay is penned by the talented Ritesh Shah. The film is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar; John Abraham of JA Entertainment; Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde and Rajesh Bahl of Wakaoo Films; Sameer Dixit and Jatish Varma of Fortune Pictures, Rakesh Dang of Seeta Films.

Ranveer Singh to headline Don 3; official announcement to come on his 38th birthday

Post the success of Pathaan, the talks around Shah Rukh Khan returning as Don in the third instalment of the series started surfacing on the internet. However, the development left a section of moviegoers disappointed as it was reported that not Shah Rukh but Ranveer Singh will be headlining Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar.

Amid the rumours, it is now learnt that Ranveer Singh will be playing the titular role in the upcoming part of the franchise. As per the latest update, Ranveer will carry forward the legacy of the action-packed franchise. And an official announcement to confirm the same will be made next week on the occasion of Ranveer’s birthday, that is July 6.

Ahead of the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the official announcement of Don 3 headlined by Ranveer Singh will be a delight for his fans. Coming back to Ranveer’s professional front, as mentioned above, he will be next seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Earlier today, Bollywood Hungama reported that the trailer of the upcoming film will be launched digitally on July 4.

Currently, the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer made headlines for its first track, ‘Tum Kya Mile.’ 

Amid this, Bollywood Hungama has exciting news related to the upcoming flick. As per the buzz, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani trailer will be released digitally this Tuesday, that is July 4. The makers will soon make an official announcement of the same.

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. It is slated to release on July 28. Besides Ranveer and Alia, it will feature Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles.

Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal trailer to launch on July 8 in Dubai

Excitement is building up for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming film, Bawaal, as the release date draws near. Bollywood Hungama has been keeping readers informed about this film, and now it's time for the much-awaited trailer. Set to be launched on July 8, the Bawaal trailer will be unveiled at a grand event in Dubai. 

A day after the trailer launch, a media event with team Bawaal including Varun and Janhvi will be held. Amazon Prime Video, the streaming platform that secured the rights to release Bawaal, is leaving no stone unturned in promoting this direct-to-OTT extravaganza. With their extensive marketing efforts, they aim to create a buzz around the film and attract a wide audience.

Initially scheduled for a theatrical release on July 21, the makers have made a significant decision. Bawaal will now be available for streaming on the Amazon Prime Video platform from July 27, allowing viewers to enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes. This decision comes after careful consideration by the team, including lead actor Varun Dhawan.

Varun, along with others in the core team, felt that it would be inappropriate to release Bawaal on OTT a day before Karan Johar's much-anticipated film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, hits the cinemas on July 28. Showing respect and admiration for his mentor, Varun, who was launched by Karan in Student Of The Year (2012), wanted to avoid any clash between their films and ensure a fair release for both.

Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma get a 'No Objection Certificate' from the Indian Army on Gadar 2

The anticipation and curiosity around the sequel of the iconic blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha has created a massive buzz ever since the first look of the film is out. The love showered by the masses on the re-release of the film proved how the film has engraved an extremely special place in the hearts of the viewers.

As a pre-requisite for any army-based film in India to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Defence Preview Committee before release, the makers held a special screening of the film and the response they received from the officials was extremely heartwarming. The Ministry of Defence Preview Committee didn’t only give the green light to Gadar 2 but also shared positive words of acclamation for the film.

Helmed by director-producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, the movie stars Superstar Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles. SCOOP: Allu Arjun might skip Ashwatthama; is in two minds to do a high on VFX Bollywood film post-Adipurush fiasco

One of the biggest superstars of Telugu Cinema, Allu Arjun, has been in talks with Aditya Dhar for his Bollywood debut with a high-on VFX action film, Ashwatthama. The superstar was fascinated by the concept of the film and had shown active interest in being a part of the film. However, dimensions are changing post the release of Adipurush. Allu Arjun is now being extra cautious about the promises made by Aditya Dhar and his team on the visual front.

"The VFX is a matter of concern now for all Telugu stars. They want to do simple films with filmmakers and trust only Rajamouli on the VFX front. Seeing what happened to Adipurush, Allu Arjun is now in two minds to trust a relatively new director with such an ambitious subject. He might decide against doing Ashwatthama now," a source close to the development told Bollywood Hungama.

Interestingly, much like Om Raut decided on Adipurush after his Hindi debut, Tanhaji, Aditya has also decided on Ashwatthama as his second film after his debut in URI. "Ashwatthama is a risky film and Allu isn't sure if he is willing to invest so much time in an outcome that he would know 2 years from now. Hence, it's better to be cautious than sorry. He will take a final call on Ashwatthama soon, but it seems like he isn't inclined towards it."

Ashwatthama is among the most ambitious Bollywood films planned for a two-parter on a budget of over Rs. 500 crores. It's produced by Jio Studios with Aditya Dhar.
