Sajid Nadiadwala addresses rumours around Housefull 5 star cast; check out official statement here

Amid speculations around the casting of Housefull 5, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has issued an official statement requesting media houses to refrain from making any premature announcements. The film is all set to be released during Diwali in 2024.

In June this year, Akshay announced the fifth instalment of his hit comedy franchise Housefull. The film is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and is scheduled to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024.

Housefull 5 marks the first-ever franchise film in Indian Cinema to have five instalments. The first part of Housefull was released in the year 2010 and starred Akshay, Riteish, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani. The film was declared a hit, followed by another hit sequel Housefull 2 which was released in the year 2012 and included a stellar cast of Akshay, Ritiesh, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Asin. Both of the parts were helmed by director Sajid Khan.

However, Sajid Khan was replaced in the third instalment of the film by director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. The film was released in 2016. Director Farhad Samji helmed the fourth part of the franchise which was a reincarnation comedy film. The latest instalment in the franchise, Housefull 4, was released 4 years ago.

Mumbai Police arrest 3 people for stealing mobile phones of Shah Rukh Khan fans outside Mannat

Bandra Police have arrested three people in connection with the theft of mobile phones of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans outside his residence, Mannat, on his birthday. The accused have been identified as Shubham Jamnaprasad, Mohammed Ali, and Imran.

According to a report by the Free Press Journal, the police have recovered nine mobile phones from the accused. They were able to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage from the incident site and adjacent areas.

On November 2, Shah Rukh Khan's 58th birthday, a large crowd of fans gathered outside Mannat to wish him. At least 30 fans reported that their mobile phones were stolen during this time.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to thank his fans for their birthday wishes and said, "It's unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning...on the screen & off it."

In addition to this, King Khan also shared the first teaser of his upcoming film, Dunki. Having said that, it is worth noting that Bollywood Hungama has recently reported that four more teasers of Dunki have been granted a censor certificate. 

While the second and third teasers’ duration is 58 seconds each, the fourth teaser is 1 minute 48 seconds long. Meanwhile, the fifth teaser has a run time of 1 minute 50 seconds. The sixth and final teaser has a duration of 1 minute 51 seconds. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is scheduled to release on December 22.

Tiger 3 gets bigger! Hrithik Roshan joins the Salman Khan starrer, YRF Spy Universe brings back Kabir: Report

Yash Raj Films is ready to set the cash counters ringing this festive season with its latest offering Tiger 3, a YRF Spy Universe film. Starring Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif, Tiger 3 is set to release on Diwali Day, Sunday, November 12! While fans are excited to see the reunion of Tiger and Zoya, they are equally excited to witness Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan appear in the project. Now, it seems like the third spy Kabir from War, played by Hrithik Roshan, is also set to make a surprise appearance in the third installment of the Tiger franchise.

For unversed, though Salman Khan was the first spy in the YRF Spy Universe, Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan kicked off the interconnection between the said universe. Salman Khan made an extended cameo in the movie as Tiger and the audience was delighted to have the beloved Khans back on the big screen. Now that Pathaan is gearing up to help Tiger in the Maneesh Sharma directorial, Kabir is heading to the franchise. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source revealed,  “Aditya Chopra has set the wheel in motion for a full convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe. No one knows, but along with Pathaan, Kabir will also be making an appearance in Tiger 3. A handful of people know how Adi is visualizing Kabir in Tiger 3 and this information is being kept under wraps to be only revealed on the big screen when Tiger 3 releases on November 12.”

“Three of India’s biggest superstars – Salman, SRK & Hrithik – are in the same universe and now also the same film. This is definitely a moment to celebrate for all the cine-goers. Kabir’s appearance in Tiger 3 is just the beginning of something special in the future of this universe. At this point in time, no one knows the dynamics of how the three super spies will be presented and if they will be in the same frame or not,” the source added.

Hrithik Roshan is already starring in War 2 which will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji. It also stars Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. Meanwhile, there is another spy project with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan titled Tiger vs Pathaan to be directed by Siddharth Anand.

Tiger 3 is the 5th film in the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe which follows the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War & Pathaan. It has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. It will open in Hindi, Tamil dubbed & Telugu dubbed versions. Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher starrer Ghoomer set for digital premiere on ZEE5 on November 10

ZEE5 today announced the world digital premiere of Ghoomer. The movie features Shabana Azmi, Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, and Angad Bedi and a special appearance by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Helmed by R. Balki, Ghoomer is all set to make its digital premiere on 10th November on ZEE5.

Produced by Hope Film Makers and Saraswati Entertainment, Saiyami Kher plays Anina Dixit, a talented cricketer whose dreams are shattered by a tragic accident leading to the loss of her right arm. Paddy (played by Abhishek Bachchan), a former test cricketer, becomes her coach and helps her become the first-ever one-armed spinner, propelling her to play for the Indian National Team. The coach gives her new hope, trains her with unconventional techniques and invents a Ghoomer bowling style to turn her fate around. Ghoomer shows how people can win over tough times and get another shot at success by beating all odds.

Uorfi Javed ARRESTED for her fashion choices? Video shows police taking her into custody, watch

A video has gone viral on social media showing Uorfi Javed being taken into police custody on Friday morning in Mumbai. The video, shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, shows Uorfi on a coffee run when a group of alleged police officers approach her and ask her to accompany them to the police station.

When the former Bigg Boss OTT contestant questions the reason for her detention, one of the officers asks her in return, "Itne chote chote kapde pehenke kaun ghumta hai?" (Who walks around wearing such skimpy clothes?)

The 26-year-old actress-model is seen wearing a backless red top and a pair of denim pants in the video. She is seen asking the officials for the reason again, but they do not provide her with a clear answer.

Social media users are divided over the authenticity of the video. Some believe that it is a prank by Uorfi herself, while others believe that she has indeed been arrested. Thus, it is still unclear whether Uorfi has actually been arrested or if the video is just a prank. 

Having said that, it is worth noting that Uorfi has landed in trouble due to her fashion choices in the past. Last month, a complaint was filed against her at the Bandra Police Station for her fashion choices, according to ETimes. The actress had visited the police station soon after the complaint was filed.
