Kartik Aaryan announces return of his Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 character in comics; titled Rooh Baba Ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa

The year 2022 may probably be one of the best years for Kartik Aaryan. The actor managed to garner record-breaking success with the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 featuring him in the role of Rooh Baba and it also starred Kiara Advani and Tabu in lead roles. Considering the kind of success the film tasted, it has been made into a popular franchise with makers even claiming that a third installment might be on the cards. However, before that, we now hear that the popular movie has been turned into comics and has been titled Rooh Baba Ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to share this good news with his fans where he announced the return of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 character. He also shared a poster of the comic book collection which featured the Rooh Baba caricature along with the popular ghost of Manjulika. Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the film was a sequel to the 2007 film starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja. However, the sequel was a standalone film. While Vidya played Manjulika in the prequel, the 2022 film featured Tabu as Manjulika. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also featured Amar Upadhyay, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Rajpal Yadav among others. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. It released on May 20, 2022, and is currently available on the streaming platform, Netflix.

Liger makers shelled out Rs. 25 cr to feature Mike Tyson in Vijay Deverakonda – Ananya Panday starrer

Former boxing champ Mike Tyson walked away with a staggering Rs. 20-25 crores for his inane cameo appearance in Liger. Enterprising filmmaker Puri Jagannadh thought he had hit a jackpot when he got Mike Tyson for Liger.

Tyson who? No I am just kidding, mimicking Mr Tyson who in a recent podcast claimed he had no recollection of doing a ‘Bollywood’ film called Liger. Everyone who saw the film seconds Mr Tyson’s sentiment. Everyone who saw the film would like to forget the brackish taste it leaves in the mouth.

But the question to be asked is, how did he get into Liger in the first place? What box office sense does that make? Whose idea was it?

A bit of probing reveals that Karan Johar who co-produced the Hindi version of Liger was totally opposed to the idea of inviting Tyson. Vijay Deverakonda too was not kicked by the idea. It was entirely Puri’s idea.

“Puri had a thing about working with Tyson. Otherwise today’s audience knows nothing about Tyson. He was fixated on the idea of anyhow getting Tyson into the film, no matter what the cost,” a source close to the project reveals.

Anupam Kher defends Yash Raj Films after Anurag Kashyap blames Aditya Chopra for the recent YRF film debacle

Anupam Kher, who recently featured in films like The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2, came in support of head of Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra after filmmaker Anurag Kashyap blamed him for the failure of their recent releases. The filmmaker had commented on how the director-producer sits in an office and keeps directing his employees on every small matter. Coming to his defense, Anupam maintained that it was not easy to build and maintain an empire like YRF films.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, as the veteran actor was seen promoting Karthikeya 2 with the star cast, Anupam Kher said, “I am very, very proud of Aditya Chopra. Yash ji’s family is like my own family. To have built an empire like Yash Raj Films is not an easy thing. It’s easy for people to make comments. I don’t again want to pass judgement on what he has said. He is not the ultimate authority on human behaviour.”

His comment comes after Anurag Kashyap spoke about the recent string of flops given by Yash Raj Films. Their last 3 releases which featured superstars like Ranveer Singh in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj, and Ranbir Kapoor - Sanjay Dutt in Shamshera turned out to be box office disasters. Addressing the issue, the filmmaker had told Galatta Plus, “You have one person sitting in a cave, who doesn’t know the world outside, dictating how everybody should be making their films and telling them what to do. If Aditya Chopra has hired a bunch of people, he needs to empower them and not dictate them, not control the casting, not control everything. Sit in your office, hire good people if you trust them, and let them make their film - which is the mistake he makes! He doesn’t let them be.”

Anupam Kher has been a part of some of the biggest YRF films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Darr, Lamhe, among others.

Seema Sajdeh opens up about her divorce with Sohail Khan for the first time; says, “I think I have reached a point where I don’t care anymore”

Earlier this year, Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh announced their separation after 24 years of marriage. The couple, who are also parents to two sons, eloped way back in 1998 to tie the knot with each other. In 2022, the two of them were seen together at the family court where they filed for official separation. Seema Sajdeh, who was known as Seema Khan and even featured with that name in the first season of The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, dropped the surname ‘Khan’ and is currently going with her maiden name Seema Sajdeh. The celebrity, who has maintained silence on her divorce from the actor-producer, finally spoke about it in recent reports where she asserted that she has removed all the negativity from her life.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Seema Sajdeh said, “The thing is if I were to wallow and it’s a deep dark hole that you can quickly spiral into. So I choose to be on the other side. For me, this is what keeps me going. So even for the kids, for the family members, my brother or my sister. It’s not nice to see your sister wallowing or your daughter… Then you’re constantly stressed about that person." She went on to add, “So it’s for them to see that I am looking at my life completely from the positive angle. I’ve let go of any negativity I might have. I think I have reached a point where I don’t care anymore. As long as, these people know who I am, this is my family, my parents and my kids and my siblings.”

Seema Sajdeh and Sohail Khan are parents to Nirvaan and Yohan Khan. Seema is a fashion designer by profession and she recently wrapped up the second season of the much-talked about The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. The show features her alongside other ‘Bollywood Wives’ which include Bhavana Panday, wife of actor Chunky Panday, Maheep Kapoor, wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor, and former actress Neelam Kothari who is married to actor Samir Soni.

Rajat Sood from Delhi wins India’s Laughter Champion

Earlier this weekend, Sony Entertainment Television’s ongoing comedy reality show, India’s Laughter Champion came to a befitting end. The ‘Laughter Ka Grand Finale’, which was hosted on August 27, saw the Top 5 finalists - Nitesh Shetty from Mumbai, Jayvijay Sachan from Mumbai, Vighnesh Pande from Mumbai, Himanshu Bawandar from Ujjain, and Rajat Sood from Delhi perform one last time in front of the judges, Archana Puran Singh, and Shekhar Suman. Making the evening even more special were the cast of Liger – Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey who were promoting their film and present at the finale was also a special guest, that is Sunil Grover in the guise of Rinku Bhabhi.

As the country waited in anticipation to know who from amongst the Top 5 finalists will be declared the winner, Rajat Sood from Delhi was awarded the coveted trophy of India’s Laughter Champion. While Nitesh Shetty from Mumbai was declared as the first runner-up, owing to the tough fight between Jayvijay Sachan and Vighnesh Pande, the two were declared as the second runners-up in a tie.

Winner Rajat was awarded a cheque of Rs. 25 lakhs. Speaking about the win, Rajat said, “I was overwhelmed when the celebrations began, and my name was announced. For a few minutes, I had to absorb the fact that I had won. I had planned this moment in my head multiple times but, the reality left me awestruck. It was also a milestone moment as I was performing in front of my parents for the first time in life. They had only previously seen my content online and they would not really bring it up with me or discuss it with me. Their presence was a blessing. Some decisions that come instinctively to you are signals from the universe, which tell us that good things are about to happen. My father is very happy and I could see that pride in his eyes. I am now open to opportunities and shows that will come my way. Now I have to work even harder, and I have a fire inside me to do better. I will try to read more and equip myself to become a better artist.

Judge of India’s Laughter Champion, Shekhar Suman said, “It was a well-deserved win! Rajat fought very hard, and it was a very tough competition. I think Rajat had a very distinct flavour of his own and he comes across as a very endearing guy. He is a millennial, far too young, but he has the wisdom of a 40–50-year-old. He is extremely charming and spontaneous. So, when you watch him with his stage presence, with his spontaneity, his content, his timing, ease, confidence, all of that is a sure-fire recipe for a winner. “

On the other hand, the other judge of India’s Laughter Champion, Archana Puran Singh shared, “Rajat Sood captured our attention with every passing episode. From the very beginning, I knew there was something special about him that got us to notice him and when he started performing more and more, he started standing out even more. He has a “lover boy” image and with the way he uses the essence of poetry in his comedy, I thought he was the perfect candidate to win the show. I saw his journey closely, and I was so hopeful. His finale act was brilliant. The consistency of his performances, his pleasant appearance, his presence on stage, his haazir-jawaabi, his witty responses, and his very chocolate boy look - all go to make him a winner.”

‘Comedy’ is a word that is known universally but, with Rajat Sood infusing ‘poetry’ in his comedy acts, he aptly earned the title of ‘Pomedy.’

Bholaa: Ajay Devgn and Tabu announce the completion of their 9th film together

Ajay Devgn and Tabu will be coming together for the ninth time with the action drama Bholaa. The film, which is also directed by the Shivaay actor, was in the final leg of its shoot schedule. And now the actress has taken to social media to announce the wrap of the same. She shared a joint post with her Drishyam co-star and also gave us a sneak peek into her look from the film.

Readers would be aware that Tabu and Ajay Devgn are childhood friends and the two of them have played many interesting roles. It is being said that Bholaa will feature the actress in the role of a cop whereas Ajay will be seen in the role of a prisoner. In the recent joint post with her co-star, the actress shared a photo of their looks from the film where she is seen in a suited formal attire whereas Ajay is seen wearing a black shirt with a ghamcha. Along with that, she also added a caption saying, “Look!! We finished our 9th film together! #wewrap #bholaa @ajaydevgn @adffilms.”

Speaking of Bholaa, the film marks the fourth directorial of Ajay Devgn after U, Me, Aur Hum, Shivaay, and the latest Runway 34 that hit the big screens in 2022. It is a remake of the Tamil film Kaithi that originally featured Karthi along with Narain, Arjun Das among others and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. As for Bholaa, the film is expected to hit the theatres on March 30, 2023.

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who have acted in many films including Golmaal Again and De De Pyaar De, recently also shot for Drishyam 2 together. While they featured as a suspect and cop in the prequel, they will reprise their roles in the second part too, as the film is a continuation of the previous plotline.

Amitabh Bachchan speaks about his COVID-19 quarantine; says he’s been wiping the floor, cleaning bathroom and doing household chores by himself

Right amid his shoot schedule, Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to reveal that he has tested COVID positive and that he has quarantined himself from any association with the public. His announcement came in earlier this week, after which, many fans expressed concern over his health. However, the superstar recently took to his blog, where he assured his fans that he is recouping well but along with the update, the actor also mentioned how he doesn’t work with a team, who does all his chores for him. He mentioned that he has been doing all the household chores by himself as he has quarantined himself and is even responding to phone calls and emails personally.

Amitabh Bachchan started his blog saying, “So the entire day is filled with time and timeless memories of the past and the present and a few thoughts for the future .. a process which never is given any consideration in the hectic schedules that we follow .. Most of the time an entire team is set aside by individuals facing such encumbrances .. but choosing a team is a work of art - an artwork that requires another team .. ! issues then are endless and it has been noticed , at least by your Blogmaestra that self help is beyond all teamwork .. By the time you start preparing the briefing or educating the team, you might as well just get up and do it yourself .. it is the most satisfying and efficient working of all workings ..”

“They that have worked with you for long notice and learn your movements habits and likes dislikes as any other .. but the self knows better than any other .. so .. Rather than waste time and energy on disciplining a fresh entrant in his or her training, it may be perhaps prudent to educate the self ..  and no where is this more prominent and in execution than the times of ‘isolation’ for the dread of the ViD 19 , or to be more precise , its prevailing variant ..,” said yet another excerpt from the blog.

ALL .. is what life in these times is made of ..,” the actor wrote.

“And it is the most enjoyable and satisfying experience of them all.. The diminishing on the reliance of your staff  .. and more importantly the realisation, as I have submitted many times before, what your staff go through during an entire day .. gaining thereby the respect that should be theirs .. So .. to get back to the illness .. the feel of the ‘feelings’ is in its stable state .. which in present circumstances is the best that one can do , or should .. One could say , and is often tempted to also, to announce betterment or even more , and find that the very next day your statement being overtaken by quite the opposite .. best then to be in reserve .. in restraint .. in quiet appreciation for those that send wishes, grant them the gratitude they deserve .. and breathe !” he concluded.

Inspired by one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the Broadway musical Come Fall In Love by Aditya Chopra is all set to premiere in the US. The show will open in San Diego on September 14 and will continue till October 16. Along with a special note by Aditya Chopra, the news was posted on the official Instagram account of Yash Raj Films. For the uninitiated, the original Bollywood film featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead and released was in 1995.

Yash Raj Films shared the news on social media saying, “Aditya Chopra’s Broadway-bound musical Come Fall In Love (CFIL) is set to open at The Old Globe, San Diego on September 14. Here’s his note inviting people to see a celebration of love on stage… The musical’s official Opening is on Wednesday, September 14, and will run through October 16. #ComeFallInLove @theoldglobe”. Explaining how close Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is to his heart, Aditya Chopra penned the note saying, “I first conceived the story of DDLJ (even before it was called DDLJ) as a Hollywood story of a white American man and an Indian woman. My main motivation at that time was to present Indian culture and values to a global audience. Years later, as I reimagine the story as a Broadway musical. My mainstay is still the same, showcasing Indian culture to a world audience. And the most powerful way to depict a country’s culture and values is to see it from the perspective of someone who does not belong to the same culture. That is the starting point of Come Fall In Love, the story of Indian Simran, her culture and heritage through the eyes of American Roger.”

He went on to share, “Come Fall In Love is the story of Simran, an Indian American. She is at the center of the musical’s story, as she struggles to balance her love for Indian tradition and her family with her love for Roger. He is a white American man who falls madly in love with Simran and then falls in love with her culture and her country. He aspires towards India and finds a new version of himself in India’s energy, values, and way of life.”

Netflix has confirmed the production of Parasyte: The Grey, a series by visionary director Yeon Sang Ho based on Hitoshi Iwaaki's comic book published by KODANSHA Ltd. The story is about unidentified parasitic life-forms that live off of human hosts and strive to grow their power. As they start to disrupt society, a group of humans wage war against the rising evil.

Hitoshi Iwaaki's original comic book series Parasyte about invasive life-forms that seize and control human bodies has sold over 25 million copies over 20 territories and countries. The story, charged with much imagination and philosophical themes, spawned animation and live-action adaptations that have become all-time favorites among many fans. And now, it continues to evolve in the hands of Yeon Sang-ho, an illustrious Korean director renowned for many prominent genre films and series.

From the film Train To Busan and Peninsula that launched the K-zombie craze to globally acclaimed Netflix series Hellbound, Yeon has created a universe of his own marked by his uninhibited and awe-inspiring imagination. Yeon adds yet another domain to this realm by directing and co-writing the screenplay for Parasyte: The Grey. Given his incisive insight into human nature when people are faced with chaotic world order, many are curious to see how he will translate the world portrayed in Parasyte with Korean twist. Lee Jung Hyun plays Choi Jun Kyung, the team leader of "Team Grey," a task force battling parasites. Having lost her husband to these invasive life-forms, she devotes herself to their demise. Lee has demonstrated a wide acting spectrum in works such as Korea’s biggest film in history The Admiral: Roaring Currents, and more.

These three actors skillfully portray through their dynamic interplay of characters and events how parasitic life-forms come to plague the world. Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Abraham Popoola join Jennifer Lopez in Netflix's Atlas

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings star Simu Liu, This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown and Abraham Popoola haved joined the star and producer Jennifer Lopez in Atlas. The Netflix project is directed by Brad Peyton.

The film revolves around an intelligence analyst who gets stranded on a distant planet and must learn to fight inside a military-grade mech suit in order to survive. Aron Eli Coleite is penning the script based on an original script by Leo Sardarian.

Atlas falls under the creative partnership between Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions and Netflix where Lopez, producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and longtime manager Benny Medina are producing a slate of films, television series, scripted and unscripted content, with an emphasis on projects that support diverse female actors, writers and filmmakers.

The film is produced by Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson for ASAP Entertainment; Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell for Safehouse Pictures; Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina for Nuyorican Productions; and Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter for Berlanti/Schechter Films with executive producer Mike McGrath.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan cast in recurring role in season 4 of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video

The Walking Dead veteran Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be joining the cast of the Amazon Original Series The Boys in Season 4 as a recurring guest star. Details on his character are being kept under wraps for Morgan’s reunion with showrunner Eric Kripke.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan played patriarch John Winchester on Kripke’s Supernatural and marks as the latest to join after Jensen Ackles having boarded season 3 as Soldier Boy.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s charisma, undeniable charm and versatility have landed him a variety of prestigious films and television series working alongside award-winning actors and filmmakers.  Having worked nonstop the past few years, Morgan continues to capture the attention of Hollywood and has emerged as one of the industry’s most sought-after leading men.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan can currently be seen in the hit AMC series, The Walking Dead, where he made his debut in the final episode of season six as the infamous antagonist, ‘Negan.’ This performance earned him a 2016 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series. He also won Best Villain at the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards for his work in season seven. The 11^th and final season of The Walking Dead is currently airing on AMC.

Following the conclusion of The Walking Dead, Morgan will reprise his role of ‘Negan’ in the upcoming spin-off series Isle of the Dead. Along with Lauren Cohan reprising her role as ‘Maggie,’ Isle of the Dead will follow the pair through post-apocalyptic Manhattan.  Morgan and Cohan will also serve as executive producers on the series that is set to premiere in 2023 on AMC.

Raju Srivastava still on ventilator; daughter Antara Srivastava denies rumours of him gaining consciousness

Just a day ago, news of Raju Srivastava gaining consciousness went viral after certain reports claimed that the actor-comedian has come out of ventilator. However, denying these, daughter Antara Srivastava took to Instagram to share a note where she not only updated everyone about Raju’s health condition but also requested them to only believe statements given by family members and doctors. However, in the note, Antara did assure fans and well-wishers that the actor-comedian’s health is indeed improving.

Antara Srivastava took to the official Instagram account of Raju Srivastava to share a note saying, “Dear all well-wishers, My dad Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment.” The clarification statement came after the personal secretary of Raju Srivastava, Garvit Narang assured everyone that the actor-comedian is out of ventilator and gained consciousness in a statement given to news agency ANI.

Furthermore, Antara, in her note, also requested everyone to only trust information that is given by AIIMS hospital in Delhi and the official social media accounts of Raju Srivastava. “Only statements from AIIMS Delhi and Raju Ji’s official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable. The doctors and their entire team at AIIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently. We’re thankful to them and his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery,” the statement concluded.

For the uninitiated, Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS Delhi after the actor-comedian collapsed during his gym training session on August 10 due to cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital by his trainer and later, the doctors had to perform CPR at least twice to recover his heartbeat. Followed by the incident, the actor-comedian is also said to have suffered brain damage and is currently on ventilator.

Koffee With Karan 7: Shahid Kapoor opens up about Jersey's failure at the box office: 'Was really thinking that should we just straight go to digital'

The new episode of Koffee With Karan 7 saw Kabir Singh co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The two stars spoke about their films, careers, relationships and more. During the episode, Karan asked Shahid about his recent release Jersey and how he had expectations from the film but it didn't do well at the box office.

Karan asked, "Recently, your film didn't perform to expectation. On a performance that was very largely loved and everyone said you were outstanding and actually coming from a performance that was National Award winning, was it tough for you to deal with how the film went at the box office, or did you just accept it for what it was and moved on because the climate is such?"

Shahid replied, "Actually in December, when we were supposed to release it on the 31st and we couldn't release, because COVID came in and Delhi got shut down. It literally happened 3 days before. All our marketing material was out and everything had been released and very clearly in my head in December, I asked myself,  "Am I thinking from my head or from my heart?" Because it was a film that was very close to our hearts and I was very emotionally involved in the character and the father-son dynamic had affected me personally as well. And my director and producer, Aman and Gautam, both of them were very keen that the film goes to the big screen."

He continued, "When in December it didn't happen, I was really thinking that should we just straight go to digital now. Because its really difficult to repeatedly keep creating the hype around the film, especially when all your material is out and then unfortunately we released in April, which was not a great month for us because there was a certain mood and a certain type of cinema which the audience was watching and we had shifted our date multiple times by the time we released, but you are still optimistic and hopeful thinking that things will get sorted but it didn't work out like that and I feel maybe we didn't do the right thing on the film maybe the film needed to be protected."

SCOOP: Vicky Kaushal's Govinda Naam Mera sold to Star Network for Rs. 62 crores at a No Profit No Loss deal

The industry is in a state of shock following the failures of multiple big-budget films and the producers are forced to rethink their strategies for releasing feature films.  Actors are forced to bring down their acting fees, whereas producers have put below-the-mark scripts in the cans now to make 2023 a brighter year for Hindi Film Industry.  One of the many steps taken by the industry includes sending non-theatrical films directly to OTT platforms.

Shashank Khaitan's Govinda Naam Mera with Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar has been sold to Disney+Hotstar for a sum of Rs. 62 crores. "It's a comic entertainer, but not exactly a film that's ideal for the big screen in today's world. Hence, the makers decided on a direct to digital premiere," revealed a source close to the development to Bollywood Hungama, adding further that the satellite and digital rights have been sold to Star Network for Rs 62 crore.

"The digital rights are valued at Rs. 42 crores and the satellite rights at Rs. 20 crores. The initial market expectation of Dharma Productions for Govinda Naam Mera was Rs. 80 crores, but the buyers were not too keen to spend such a big amount on the film. Finally, the deal was locked at Rs. 62 crores," the source further told Bollywood Hungama. Interestingly, Dharma Productions won't be making any money on Govinda Naam Mera.

"The budget of the film is equal to the revenue fetched. The team is now in a no profit no loss zone, which is still better than entailing losses in today's world," the insider told us. Govinda Naam Mera will be released on Disney+Hotstar in November.

James Cameron's Avatar to re-release in theatres on September 23; sequel Avatar: The Way of Water arrives on December 16, 2022

Filmmaker James Cameron’s Academy Award winning 2009 epic adventure Avatar, the most successful film of all time, returns to theatres on September 23 in stunning 4K High Dynamic Range. The much awaited sequel Avatar: The Way of Water will be releasing on December 16, 2022. Ahead of the sequel's release, the makers will re-release the film in theatres.

As per reports, the film will have two week limited run in theatres. Apart from that, it has been removed from Disney+ and it is unclear when it will return to the platform. Ahead of the re-release, a new trailed dropped on Tuesday.

Written and directed by Academy Award® winner James Cameron, “Avatar” stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver. BTS to hold global concert to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan on October 15; 100,000 people are expected to attend

Pop titans BTS just announced the venue and date for the Global Busan Concert, WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS in BUSAN. The announcement can be found on global fandom life platform Weverse. BTS in Busan is hosted to support the bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Busan Metropolitan City. It will take place at Busan Ilgwang special stage in Gijang-gun, Busan on October 15.

The concert to be free for admission will be available in various ways: the in-person concert is expected to be attended by 100,000 people, and the in-person live broadcast LIVE PLAY will hold approximately 10,000 people at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal Outdoor Parking Lot. Online livestream will also be available.

Starting with the concert, BTS will kick off their activities as ambassadors for World Expo 2030 Busan, Korea. During the ambassador appointment ceremony last month, BTS said, “We will make extra efforts to not only support the bid, but also promote the beautiful nature and culture of the Republic of Korea worldwide.”

Back in June, it was announced that BTS, the newly appointed ambassadors for Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid, would hold the Global Busan Concert to support the nation’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan Metropolitan City. HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and CEO Park Jiwon, and Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City Park Heong-joon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Busan Metropolitan City Hall to promote Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030. As part of the agreement, BTS as ambassadors will hold the Global Busan Concert in efforts to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan.

The memorandum covers joint initiatives for Busan to succeed in its bid as the host. It includes BTS to: Act as the ambassadors;Hold Global Concert in Busan, activities to appeal to the members of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE); Personally introduce the proposed site for the BIE Enquiry Missions; Serve as the ambassadors at South Korea’s presentation session; Be present on the election day to support the bid; Provide photos and videos for the city's digital campaigns, and; Spread promotional videos via official social media channels, and more.

Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to social media on Tuesday night to inform his followers that he had tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time. The actor has been shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

On Tuesday night, the megastar took to his official Twitter account to share the news. “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also," he wrote.

Back in 2020, Big B had tested positive for Covid-19 and was even admitted to the hospital. He had tweeted, “I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital. On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. Apart from this, he will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor with Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The film releases on September 9.

HIT: The First Case starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra to premiere on Netflix on August 28

HIT: The First Case starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra is all set to arrive on Netflix. Following the release in theatres in July 2022, the suspense thriller will begin streaming on the platform on August 28, 2022. The announcement was made on Tuesday.

The film is about Vikram, played by Rajkummar Rao is a cop battling the demons of his past amidst solving a crime case of a missing woman. The movie unfolds many mysteries, deceits, lies, truth and much more.

The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra hit the theatres on the 15th of July, 2022.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui to star in Zee Studios' Haddi; lools unrecognisable in first motion poster while dressed as a woman

Director Akshat Ajay Sharma's upcoming film, Haddi raises the curiosity level amongst the audience. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role, the first motion poster of Haddi shows him in a never seen avatar. The first look of Nawazuddin (dressed as a woman) intrigues the viewers quite a bit as it talks about the potential of a power-packed entertainer. Haddi is a noir revenge drama produced by Zee Studios, Anandita Studios (Raadhika Nanda, Sanjay Saha) and directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. It's co-written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla.

Writer and director Akshat Ajay Sharma says, "It's going to be a double whammy, as Haddi gives me the opportunity to collaborate with Nawazuddin. Our team is hoping that the motion poster piques the audience's interest as we are excited to be diving deep into a new world. Can't wait to start filming".

Akshat has worked as a Second Unit Director in popular web series AK VS AK, and Sacred Games, and as a dialogue writer in recently released movie Major. The movie will be shot in areas around Western UP, including Noida and Ghaziabad.

Zee Studios Haddi is produced by Anandita Studios (Raadhika Nanda, Sanjay Saha) and directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. This film is written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla and is scheduled to release in 2023.

Hrithik Roshan & Saif Ali Khan's 1 Minute 46 seconds long Vikram Vedha teaser to be out tomorrow

The wait is over. Hrithik Roshan is back on the big screen with Vikram Vedha co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The team of Vikram Vedha was initially planning to attach their teaser with Laal Singh Chaddha, but there was a last-minute delay for reasons best known to the team. And finally, Hrithik Roshan fans can rejoice, as the Vikram Vedha teaser will hit the digital world tomorrow.

According to our sources, Reliance will launch the Vikram Vedha teaser on Wednesday morning at 11 am. "There is a media screening today, but the teaser hits the digital world on Wednesday Morning," a source told Bollywood Hungama, quick to inform further that the teaser will take the audience by storm. "It's a 1 minute 46-second-long teaser, that is loaded with high points, action, dialogue, baazi, and thrill. Pushka and Gayatri have amped the original film and are ready to present the newly packaged version to the Hindi audience," the source informed us further.

It's a 35-day campaign, leading to the film’s release on September 30. "The teaser launch will be followed by a trailer launch in the first week of September. The trailer will be screened globally with Brahmastra. This would be followed by a music launch and finally, the film release on September 30. It's a tight but impactful campaign. The makers are confident to excite the audience with their publicity material."

Vikram Vedha is the official remake of Vikram Vedha and stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf in lead.

Vaani Kapoor commences shoot for a new film on her birthday; keeps details under wraps

Vaani Kapoor is having a working birthday this year and coincidentally, she starts shooting her next film on this special day! It looks like Vaani now wants to push the envelope further with her next projects. 'It feels amazing to be starting a new film on my birthday! I couldn’t have asked for a better gift for myself. '

She further adds, “I can’t reveal any further but I can say that every project of mine post Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui will be diverse and will constantly put myself under the pump to pick challenging roles that gives me the scope to shine as an actor. I’m looking to do more tricky roles which satiates my artistic appetite and this new project fits right into the scheme of things for me now. PIL filed against Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha to completely ban the film in Bengal citing peace disorder

Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha released on August 11. Touted to be one of the biggest releases of the year, the film has not seen growth in box office collections. Distributors and theatre chain owners are cancelling shows as they are suffering losses. While the boycott calls on social media seemed like added factor in lackluster performance at the box office. Now, a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) has now been filed against Laal Singh Chaddha in the Kolkata High Court citing peace disorder and urging a complete ban on the film in Bengal.

According to Live Law India, "BJP leader and lawyer, Nazia Ilahi Khan has moved the High Court stating that the situation in the state is extremely volatile in relation to any religious issue. In this regard and to substantiate her arguments, the petitioner has referred to some of the recent instances when the state came under a critical situation."

It further read, "The trend in Social Media has been advocated by quite a large amount of people and they would further not want others to go and watch this film in the theatres as that would make their 'hard work' go futile. Such anger and frustration on seeing that some people are going to watch the film can lead to a serious threat to the law and order situation in the State of West Bengal. Such factions who want to boycott the film may not let others watch the film in the theatres and this may lead to tussle and further may loosen the grip of the State over the law and order situation. Such a situation seriously leads to an apprehension that the law and order situation in the State may be compromised if the film is exhibited in the theatres any further."

Laal Singh Chaddha, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, stars Aamir Khan Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya.

Salman Khan likely to revert to original title of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali; wants to avoid cultural-specific community-identifying film title Bhaijaan

Salman Khan is being advised rather seriously to revert to his old title  Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali for his  new production family drama featuring Salman and Pooja Hegde in the lead.

Lately, the project is being known as  Bhaijaan. But close friends have advised  Salman to not go by the title Bhaijaan as it conveys a very ethnic feeling.

“The film is about the one-ness of  all Indians, irrespective of caste or culture. To call the film by  a  culture-specific  title seems incongruous . The film was originally called Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, and that’s the title that Salman is likely to  adhere to,” says  a  source close to the project.

Of late, cultural-specific, community-identifying film titles are being  shunned.

Julianna Margulies to return for third season of The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon

Apple TV+ on Monday announced that Julianna Margulies is set to return for season three of the Emmy Award-winning, critically acclaimed Apple Original series, The Morning Show. Following her widely celebrated performance as 'Laura Peterson,’ an anchor at UBA News, Margulies will return and reprise her role for season three -- starring alongside a star-studded cast that includes recently announced new addition Jon Hamm. The third season of the critically acclaimed, award-winning series, executive produced and starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and produced by Media Res, is currently in production.

The Morning Show is an Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice Award-winning series starring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, executive produced by Mimi Leder, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg, and produced by the studio Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films. The broadly acclaimed second season recently received Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Reese Witherspoon; Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Billy Crudup, who also won the award for season one; and, Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, Marcia Gay Harden.

Season three of the The Morning Show will be showrun and executive produced by Charlotte Stoudt (“Fosse/Verdon,” “Homeland,” “House of Cards”), who has a multi-year overall deal with Apple TV+ for scripted television series. The series is executive produced by Michael Ellenberg through Media Res, along with Aniston and Kristin Hahn through Echo Films; Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter through Hello Sunshine. Leder serves as executive producer and director.

Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two found The Morning Show team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play. Along with Aniston and Witherspoon, the star-studded cast for season two was led by Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin and Marcia Gay Harden. New additions for season two included Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, Hasan Minhaj, Holland Taylor, Tara Karsian, Valeria Golino and Julianna Margulies.

Seasons one and two of The Morning Show are now streaming globally on Apple TV+. In its first season, Crudup’s performance as Corey Ellison earned an Emmy win in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category, in addition to a Critics Choice Award. Aniston's powerful performance as Alex Levy, earned a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. The series also received nominations from the Television Critics Association for Outstanding New Program and a TV Choice Award for Best New Drama.
