Triptii Dimri, debutante Babil Khan starrer Qala to premiere on Netflix on December 1, 2022

Netflix on Tuesday announced the release date of its upcoming psychological drama, Qala will premiere on 1st December 2022. Set in the late 1930s and early 1940s, Qala is the story of an eponymous young playback singer. The film is about Qala’s tragic past and the ways in which it catches up with her, causing her to unravel at the peak of her hard-won success. But the beginning and end of her spiral is her relationship with her mother. The pathology of her upbringing and the neurosis it leads to. Witness the emotional journey of Qala who navigates professional successes while battling personal demons.

Director Anvitaa Dutt shares, “Qala is a story about mothers and daughters. And how a troubled upbringing can damage someone and have far-reaching consequences. Karnesh and I both felt it was an important story to tell. We set it in the world of music in the late 1930s; a setting both evocative and poignant. It has been an exciting and rewarding journey to bring this story to life with Netflix as our partners. This is my second outing with them and it has been twice as much fun to create a homegrown story for audiences worldwide.”

Producer Karnesh Ssharma says, “We are delighted to be working along with Netflix and Anvitaa once again. At Clean Slate Filmz we aim to create distinct stories and Qala is one such film. Audiences across the world will be able to relate to it due to universal themes like family relationships and mental health. A service like Netflix allows for audiences globally to find diverse stories from India and we are hoping the film and the music are something they hold on to even after watching it on December 1st.”

Anvitaa Dutt’s directorial return to Netflix stars Triptii Dimri, Babil Khan, Swastika Mukherjee, Amit Sial, Neer Raao, Avinash Raj Sharma and Ashish Singh in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karnesh Ssharma under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz.

Priyanka Chopra to meet Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj for possible collaborations

Priyanka Chopra is back in India after three years. The actress returned to Mumbai on the morning of November 1 and was mobbed by paparazzi and a massive crowd. The actress has been in her Los Angeles home for the past couple of years where she lives with her husband Nick Jonas. During the pandemic, the actress continued to stay in LA. Following the Diwali celebrations last week, the actress has returned to Mumbai and it seems like she already has plans to discuss possible collaborations with filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj.

In a report seen on a web portal, the actress and the filmmakers are in discussions about possible projects. They have been meaning to work on another project for some time now and have even shared a few ideas with Priyanka. During this trip, she plans to take these conversations forward. The actor also has some brand commitments to fulfil but she will try to wrap up as many things as possible during this trip.

Priyanka Chopra and Vishal Bhardwaj previously worked together on films like 7 Khoon Maaf and Kaminey. She has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela where she made a special appearance in a song followed by playing Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani. Both projects were headlined by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The actress was reportedly in talks for the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic, but it didn’t work out.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has Ending Things with Anthony Mackie and It's All Coming Back To Me with Celine Dion. She will be seen in Russo Brothers’ Prime Video series Citadel, alongside Richard Madden. She also has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. All her upcoming projects are due for the 2023 release. She was last seen in the Netflix movie, The White Tiger which starred Adarsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao.

SM Entertainment cancels annual Halloween party in the wake of Itaewon crowd crush that left 151 dead, 82 injured

In the wake of the tragedy in Itaewon in South Korea on Saturday, the popular entertainment agency SM Entertainment, which houses K-pop groups like NCT, Red Velvet, aespa, Super Junior, EXO, SHINee among others, has cancelled their annual Halloween celebrations. For the unversed, Itaewon, one of the popular destinations in South Korea, witnessed thousands of people during Halloween celebrations which led to one of the most horrific incidents.

In a statement on late Saturday night following the tragic incident of crowd surge in Itaewon, SM Entertainment released a statement which read, “We are informing you that the live broadcast of the “SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2022” red carpet, which was scheduled to be streamed live for free today for KWANGYA CLUB ACE members on the global platform Beyond LIVE for approximately one hour starting from 6:15 p.m., has been cancelled. Because the “SMTOWN WONDERLAND 2022” event itself has been cancelled, there will be no livestream of the red carpet either. We ask for fans’ understanding.”

President Yoon Suk Yeol has officially announced the mourning period from October 30 – November 4 amid the Itaewon case. As per a report in Korea Herald, atleast 151 people died and more than 82 were injured in a “crowd crush in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, central Seoul, according to fire authorities at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The fire department began to receive reports of patients having difficulty breathing at 10:22 p.m. on Saturday.”

It was reported that most fatalities were people in their 20s amongst whom 19 were foreigners who were dead. Videos and photos went viral on social media where people were providing CPR to several people who went into cardiac arrest due to crowd-crushing in Itaewon which is a central party spot. The report states, “A total of 848 personnel, including 364 firefighters, were mobilized to deal with the accident and 142 ambulances were deployed.”

Liam Hemsworth to replace Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher season 4: ‘I may have some big boots to fill, but I'm truly excited’

In one of the latest developments, Henry Cavill is saying goodbye to the beloved character Geralt Of Rivia in The Witcher season 4. Ahead of the season 3 arrival next year, Cavill took to Instagram on Saturday to inform his fans that he will officially be ‘laying down my medallion and my swords’ and departing the fantasy series, on Netflix. Season 4 will see Liam Hemsworth take on the role of monster-hunter Geralt of Rivia instead.

“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures," Cavill wrote in his post. "In my stead, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.”

He continued, "Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him. Enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find."

Hemsworth took to Instagram and paid tribute to Cavill, “As a Witcher fan, I'm over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia," he wrote. "Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I'm honoured that he's handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf's blades for the next chapter of his adventure.”

“Henry, I've been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character," The Hunger Games actor said. "I may have some big boots to fill, but I'm truly excited to be stepping into the Witcher world.”

Henry Cavill’s announcement comes in less than weeks since he made a cameo as Superman in DC’s Black Adam. He then announced that he is putting the cape back on and is ready for the next movie.

Netflix has seemingly greenlit seasons 4 and 5 of the series which will be reportedly shot back-to-back. While it is unclear when the production will begin, the seasons are currently in the writing stage.

In this day and age of a digital world, where everyone is talking about and posting content about their highs and achievements in life, it’s still rare for people to share their lows or the challenges they are facing. On Saturday, Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to social media to reveal that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition Myositis and is still recovering.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a photo from th hospital and wrote, "Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery.

I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS."

Upon hearing the news, several celebrities wished her speedy recovery. "Get well soon Sam. Sending you all the strength," wrote Jr NTR on Twitter, who has shared the screen space with Samantha in films  including Brindavanam and Jantha Garage.

Dulquer Salmaan, who teams up with Samantha in the upcoming Malayalam action thriller King Of Kotha, also said,  "More power to you Sam! LIke you said, This too shall pass."

Shriya Saran commented on her Manam co-star's Instagram post, "Love and light to you, you are amazing always."

Akkineni Akhil, actor and brother or Samantha's ex-husband Naga Chaitanya wrote, "All the love and strength to you dear Sam."

Kajal Aggarwal commented, "Speedy recoveries Sam… You’re going to bounce back much stronger!"

Sevaral Bollywood celebrities including Janhvi Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Sanya Malhotra among others left red heart emojis on her post.

Kartik Aaryan gained 10 Kgs for upcoming film Freddy

Having spun magic on the box office with his last film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan seems to be in a ‘transformative’ mood. For his ready-for-release eerie film Freddy directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Kartik had to gain considerable weight to give a ‘weighty’ performance as a dentist on a rampage.

A well-informed source reveals, “Freddy is Kartik Aaryan’s most challenging role to date. He plays a dark eerie twisted character which will shock audiences.” Kartik’s character is apparently as grey as Shah Rukh’s Baazigar and Darr.

Since Kartik had to play a character older than his actual age, Kartik insisted on bulking himself up.

“The director suggested prosthetics. But Kartik wanted no artificiality in his acting ambit on this occasion. Freddy is as raw and real as it can get. And Kartik wanted the character to look as determinedly authentic as possible,” says the source.

Was it tough for Kartik to put on the kilos? “Not at all. He only had to tuck into his mother’s cooking for a few weeks to bulk up,” says the source.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10: Shilpa Shinde takes a jibe at judges’ panel; asks Karan Johar if he is going to give a “National Award” to contestants

A few weeks back popular TV personality Shilpa Shinde was evicted from the dance-reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10. It seems even after her eviction, she is following the show, and her latest video posts on her Instagram are proof of it. However, in the videos, she is not praising the show, but slamming the judges' panel - which includes Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Nora Fatehi.

The former Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress shared two videos, in which she can be seen talking about JDJ10 contestants Rubina Dilaik and Nia Sharma, and the comments of judges on their recent performances. A furious Shilpa wrote, “It’s my humble request to all the judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,” in the caption of her video.

In the video, Shinde briefly talked about television actress Nia Sharma’s performance where the judges pointed out faults. Taking a jibe at Karan Johar, Shilpa asked if the producer was going to offer Nia a Dharma Productions film, according to how she performed that day.

She continued to slam the judges and asked them what they wanted to see in a mere 3-minute dancing act. She further added whether Karan was going to hand the contestants an Oscar or National Award for their performance. While speaking her mind on the matter, she emphasises how the celebrity contestants go the extra mile to give a flawless act.

In the video, Shilpa lauded the efforts of the participants as she mentioned that the performers put all their heart and soul into the 3-minute act. Although Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is supposed to be an entertainment show, it is being treated no less than a competition, stated the actress. Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter postponed; to now release on January 25, 2024

Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone is set to go on floors soon. This marks the actor's second collaboration with filmmaker Siddharth Anand after 2019's blockbuster, War. The film will have India's first aerial sequences as the project is around the story of the Indian Air Force. While Siddharth Anand is penning the script, he is joined by ex-Army officer Ramon Chibb. He will bring his army experience as he takes on the role of screenplay writer, and will share the story-writing credits with Anand. The film was slated to release on September 30, 2023. Now, it has been postponed to 2024 Republic Day. Celebrating India's 75th Republic Day, the action-packed large-screen spectacle by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures is set to release on January 25, 2024.

Fighter will see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as Indian Air Force pilots. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in a major role. Turning producer with Fighter, director Siddharth Anand, who is known for helming India’s biggest action films is pulling out all stops to set up this massive spectacle, set to grip audiences with a never before big screen experience.  With producer & Viacom18 Studio’s COO Ajit Andhare's vision of bringing an international-scale action film to Indian cinema, the film intends to appeal to a global audience with its story deeply rooted in India. Shot across the world, it promises state-of-the-art techniques and technology in making the film.

Fighter will reportedly kick off on November 15 with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. They will be shooting high-octane action and dramatic sequences. The film will be VFX-heavy as well and the Brahmastra VFX team is on board for the same.  The Double Negative (DNEG), the VFX company responsible for Brahmastra’s visual effects, will work with the Fighter team.

Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand is currently busy with the much-anticipated film Pathaan which stars Deepika Padukone alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan was last seen on the big screen in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali Khan which was released on September 30, 2022. Deepika Padukone has an array of line up including a film with Prabhas, The Intern remake, Pathaan, and more.

Crash Landing on You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin expecting a baby boy; delivery due in December

South Korean actors Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, who got hitched in March 2022, are expecting their first child. The Crash Landing On You actors, who dated for three years before tying the knot, took to social media to make the announcement in July 2022. Now, the couple has revealed that they are expecting a baby boy which is due in December.

Son Ye Jin’s agency made an official announcement in Korean, as per the Korean tabloid Soompi, which read, “Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin’s child is a boy. The baby is due in December. Son Ye Jin is currently in very good health. She’s calmly preparing for the birth [of her son].”

Back in June, Son Ye Jin took to her official Instagram account to make the announcement. As per Korean tabloid Soompi, her note, written in Korean, read, “You are all well, right? I am doing well. Today, I want to carefully share some joyful news. A new life has come to us. I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement.  As thankful as I am, I also feel that much cautious, so I haven’t even told anyone around me yet. Before it gets later, I am sharing this news with fans and acquaintances who must have been waiting as much as us. We will make sure to protect the valuable life that has come to us. I hope all of you will also protect what is valuable in your lives and live in good health…Be happy.”

Fans around the world fell in love with the lead pair of Crash Landing On You, played by supremely popular actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. While there were rumours that the actors were dating, it was only confirmed on January 1, 2021. Dispatch, A Korean tabloid, revealed that Crash Landing On You stars indeed fell in love during the filming of the series and began dating after the drama ended.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani to head to Ahmedabad for Satyaprem Ki Katha shoot in November

Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures' collaboration, Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani is slated to release in 2023. The shoot began early this year. The team wrapped up the Mumbai schedule in early October. They are now gearing up for the Ahmedabad schedule of the shoot.

As per a report in a web portal, the actors will resume the shoot for the film in November. The city plays an important part in the narrative of the story. The recee is currently on in Gujarat. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will be on a 15-20 schedule and the makers plan to shoot at as many real locations as possible.

The film will mark Kartik Aaryan & Kiara Advani coming together for the second time after their last venture Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film, which released in May earlier this year, was a blockbuster.

Satya Prem Ki Katha also marks a collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films.

Satyaprem Ki Katha will be releasing in theatres on June 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next star in Freddy which is seeing a direct-to-digital release. The announcement was made on October 27 that the film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Alaya F opposite Kartik Aaryan. It marks his second digital release after Dhamaka.  He also has Kabir Khan's next which was announced a couple of months ago and Captain India.

On the other hand, Kiara Advani has Ram Charan's next RC 15 with Shankar. She was last seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. She is reportedly also gearing up to reunite with Shershaah co-star Sidharth Malhotra.

Ever since its inception, Vicky Kaushal starrer The Immortal Ashwatthama has grabbed headlines for various reasons. A few weeks back, the leading lady of the project, Sara Ali Khan opted out of the film. Though the makers roped in Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a section of fans still want to know the reason why Sara Ali Khan had to walk out of The Immortal Ashwatthama. 

There is a news piece making rounds on the internet shedding some light on the matter. According to a report by India Today, Sara walked out of Vicky Kaushal starrer The Immortal Ashwatthama after the script got revised.

The report explained that the makers wanted a younger girl in the film and at that time Sara came on board. However, after the script was revised, the dates were clashing and it was no longer doable. The report also mentioned that the makers now wanted an older actress to be cast in the film. However, it is worth mentioning that neither Khan nor the makers of the forthcoming film have not issued any official statement regarding the former’s exit from the project. 

The report also gave a sneak peek into the pre-production of The Immortal Ashwatthama as it stated Vicky Kaushal is still very much on board for the project as he has a stronghold and credibility with the audience. The pre-production for the film has already begun and since the film is mounted on a huge scale the makers have spent nearly 8-10 months on pre-production.

For the unversed, directed by Aditya Dhar, the upcoming film will see Vicky portraying Ashwatthama - the son of Dronacharya. To get into the skin of his character, Vicky was training in horse-riding and various martial art forms, including krav maga and jiu-jitsu.

Esmayeel Shroff dies in Mumbai; Govinda, Padmini Kolhapure mourn his demise

Veteran director Esmayeel Shroff passed away following a brief illness late on Wednesday in Mumbai. As per a report by IANS, he breathed his last at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was around 65.

For the unversed, the late director had helmed a bunch of hit films such as Agar, God and Gun, Ahista Ahista, Zid, Police Public, Majhdhaar, Dil Akhir Dil Hai, Bulundi, Nishchaiy, Suryaa and Jhuta Sach. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, he was earlier a graduate in sound engineering from the National Institute of Technology. However, his interest in cinema took him to Bombay where he initially worked as an assistant director.

Shroff had also launched Govinda’s career in Bollywood in 1986. Reacting to the news of his demise, Govinda said, “I’m deeply saddened. My career started with his film. Uparwala unko jannat naseeb karaye (may God place his soul in heaven). May his soul rest in peace. Not only did he give me work, but he used to have faith in me, too. He was the first person in my life who said that Govinda understands cinema. He played a big role in making me Govinda from Govind,” to ETimes. 

On the other hand, Padmini Kolhapure also recalled working with the late filmmaker. While calling him a ‘very sensitive director’ with a ‘smiling face’, she told ETimes, “I did Thodisi Bewafaii and Ahista Ahista with him. Ahista Ahista is very close to my heart. He seemed strict in his demeanour but he had a smiling face. He was very sure about what he wanted and he would put it across. We got along very well as actor-director. He was a very sensitive director. It's a huge loss. He left his mark in the industry.”

Meanwhile, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit took to his Twitter handle and mourned the death of Esmayeel Shroff. In a brief tweet, he wrote, “Sad to know about the demise of ace filmmaker Esmayeel Shroff.”

While further details are awaited, team Bollywood Hungama pays sincere condolences to his family.

Ira Khan recently announced her engagement with Nupur Shikhare. She celebrated a low-key but fun Diwali with fiancé Nupur Shikhare, their friends and the latter’s family. Away from all the glitzy parties and glamorous events in tinsel town, Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan decided to celebrate the festival with her husband-to-be and his family. The star kid, who has always stayed away from the limelight, dressed in quintessential Indian attire as they clicked photographs and posted on their respective social media handle.

While Ira's fiancé Nupur shined in a yellow kurta, Ira Khan opted for a traditional Kerala saree, which is an off-white saree with a golden border. The name of TV actress Vaishali Takker hit the headlines after she was found dead in her apartment. While the investigation is still underway, a few of her loved ones are coming forward and revealing shocking details related to her death. Recently, Vaishali’s co-star Nishant Singh Malkani has also broken his silence. 

Nishant revealed that the late actress’s ex-boyfriend Rahul Navlani had threatened her to leak their private pictures. He also mentioned that Vaishali was in depression and she took the psychiatrist's help to come out of it. In a conversation with ETimes, Nishant said, “Rahul was not letting her move on. She was in a depression. She had consulted a psychiatrist.”

Elaborating, Malkani said, “I now realise the magnitude of her problem, when I get to hear things such as Rahul wanting to show their intimate pictures to her to-be husband. Intimacy happens if you are in a relationship, but that does not mean that you threaten to share those moments with anybody else if you break up.”

The Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega actor went on to reveal, “It was a very toxic relationship. She used to cry so much on the set so many times, kabhi kabhi acting bhi nahi kar pati thi because she was under so much stress and trauma. I used to tell her to ignore him and move on.”

For the unversed, Vaishali Takkar was found dead at her residence in Indore on October 16. The actress left a suicide note accusing Rahul and his wife Disha of mentally harassing her. Rahul was arrested near Indore on October 19 and is currently in police custody. 

Vaishali had made her debut with Star Plus’ daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Later on, she was seen playing significant characters in various TV shows, such as Sasural Simar Ka, Super Sisters, and Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, among others.

Tiger Shroff roped in for Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti’s next?

Tiger Shroff was last seen on the big screen in the film Heropanti 2. While the film did not perform as expected at the box office, Tiger quickly moved to his next. In fact, the actor has been busy working on Ganapath which is slated to hit screens in December this year. Well, now we hear that Tiger has been roped in for a new project that will be helmed by the Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti.

As per a report by Peeping Moon, the yet-untitled venture will be an emotional action drama, shot extensively in the UK. Directed by Jagan Shakti the venture is apparently being bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. Interestingly, this will be Bhagnani and Tiger’s second venture together post the Vikas Bahl directorial Ganapath. As for the new project, the makers of the film are said to be in talks with Tiger to arrange his dates, post which the final paperwork for the film will be processed. However, it remains unclear whether the film is the same one that was to feature Akshay Kumar but was later shelved, or whether this venture is a totally different film.

As for Tiger, the young actor is busy with his buddy film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, following which he will be seen in Rohit Dhawan’s Rambo remake.

Charu Asopa wants divorce from Rajeev Sen; says, “Have already wasted three-and-a-half years”

The last few months have been no less than a roller coaster ride for Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa, who are in dilemma about their marriage. After going back and forth over their decision of separating from each other, in a recent report, Charu Asopa asserts that she has decided to divorce Rajeev, who is also the brother of former beauty queen and actress Sushmita Sen. Charu, who herself was a television actress, also revealed in her recent statement that he made it difficult for her work with anyone in the industry.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Charu Asopa not only spoke about how he would warn her co-stars to stay away from her but also accused him of cheating on her. She was quoted in these reports saying, “Rajeev is temperamental, has abused and even raised his hand on me once or twice. He would suspect me of cheating on him. When I was shooting for Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, he sent messages to my co-actors to stay away from me. It became difficult for me to work. I feel that he was cheating on me, but that’s something I can’t prove.”

The TV actress also asserted that she will be kickstarting the procedure for separation. She went on to continue adding, “I will initiate divorce proceedings and hope he agrees to it without causing more trouble. Like previously, I haven’t asked for alimony. I don’t want to drag this marriage anymore. I have already wasted three-and-a-half years.”

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen tied the knot at a small court wedding in June 2019. After announcing about their separation in June 2022, the couple decided to give their marriage another chance in August. However, reports of their marriage in trouble started surfacing once again last month after Charu claimed that her husband had blocked her on social media. The couple has a 11-month-old daughter named Ziana.

Bigg Boss 16: Bigg Boss will select ‘Shaitan Ki Awaz’ to save two contestants from nomination

Jaya Bachchan miffed with paparazzi again; chases them out of Bachchan residence

Jaya Bachchan has been more than explicit many times about her dislike towards media. With Diwali celebrities becoming a prime part of paparazzi focus, the household of Amitabh Bachchan was obviously in the limelight. While cameras were stationed at their Juhu residence, Pratiksha in Mumbai, waiting for the arrival of the Bachchans for their annual Laxmi Pooja, they were left quite shocked when Jaya came out of the bungalow to chase them out of the area itself.

After capturing the entry of the Bachchans in Pratiksha, the cameras were stationed to capture some more moments from their Diwali shenanigans. However, Jaya Bachchan was miffed with the media, terming them as intruders and even ran out of the gate to chase them out. In a latest video that found its way on social media, Jaya Bachchan seems to have spotted a cameraman outside their residence. She ran out to chase him saying, “Kaise flash kar rahein hai aap, intruders..’ she added. Her comment did not go down well with social media users who went on to drop their unfavorable reactions on the post.

Just a few days ago, the actress had confessed about her dislike towards media in the podcast What The Hell Navya. It featured her alongside daughter Shweta Bachchan and grand daughter Navya Naveli Nanda where they discussed about the pros and cons of media. In the podcast, she had said, "I hate it. I despise it. I despise the people who interfere in your personal life and fill their stomachs by selling those products. I hate it, I'm disgusted with such people. Ayushmann Khurrana believes Doctor G is more tough than Vicky Donor; here’s why

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is an institution of acting in himself. He has been a torchbearer of many challenging narratives - his filmography is replete with noteworthy performances. Having just delivered a content-driven film, Doctor G, the actor has once again proven his acting prowess. While discussing the same, when Bollywood Hungama asked the actor to tell which project was tough between Vicky Donor and Doctor G, he had quite an interesting response for it. 

In his response, Ayush quickly said “Doctor G”. Explaining his viewpoint on the same, he said, “That (Vicky Donor) was like the beginning of a new era because that was one of its kind and it set the trend. Rest films followed that trend. Doctor G is more tough because of how to be different from that trend though it's my zone only it's my genre and what more can you say so that's more challenging.”

In the conversation with us, the Dream Girl actor had also revealed how he picks up his scripts. During the same, he had revealed that once an established producer offered him a blank cheque and asked him to sign them for three movies. However, when he asked for the scripts, the producer replied saying that they will develop with time. Thus, he turned down the offer as he said, “mere liye Lakshmi ke pehle Saraswati aati hai.”
